I ran a Google search on the issue after the story caught my ear on NPR. What I realized about the search results was that there are barely any news reports on this, in fact to date the are only two reports listed under the news tab. The issues with Darvon/Darvocet or propxyphene are no "new discovery" they have known about this for years.

"How many years" you might be asking yourself. How does 32 years sit with you? That's right America, the FDA has known since 1978 and so did the manufacturers.

They knew they were hurting you, in fact.... They were banking on it.

"The FDA indicates that it has been petitioned to recall Darvocet and Darvon from the market twice since 1978, but only now determined that the risks outweighed the benefits. One of those petitions came from Public Citizen, a consumer advocacy group, which called for a Darvocet and Darvon recall in 2006."

I'm sure we will hear more as the case moves through the justice system (at least I would like to hope so).

The point is "They" are trying to kill/suppress us and they know it.

Bottom Line... It's up to us as Americans to learn how to take care of ourselves.

For too long our government/Big Pharma has tried to prevent us from knowing/seeking natural cures.

We can make things better for ourselves, but to depend on our government to take care of us is futile!
